Essentials for the Beach

]]> Whether you are on vacation or you live near the water, sometimes you’ll just want to leave quickly for a few hours on the beach.  At such times you may not want to use the comprehensive Beach Vacation Packing List, but you’ll want to have these essentials for the beach.

  • something to sit on – beach towel, blanket or beach chair
  • sunglasses
  • something to read
  • sunscreen
  • swimsuit and beach towel if you’re going in the water
  • bottle of water
  • and for some of us, a light snack
